Privacy at CartBuddy

Our approach
CartBuddy is designed so retailer browsing and checkout interactions occur in your browser. Our servers manage CartBuddy accounts, subscriptions, devices, commands, and notifications; they do not log into retailer accounts or crawl retailer pages on your behalf.
Information CartBuddy may store
- Your CartBuddy account identifier and contact information.
- Subscription status and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers.
- Registered devices and cryptographic entitlement records.
- Product watch rules such as retailer, product URL or ID, target price, quantity, and schedule.
- Limited product observations such as price, availability, seller, region, and timestamp.
- Operational logs needed to secure and troubleshoot the service.
Information CartBuddy does not collect
CartBuddy does not ask for or intentionally collect retailer passwords, full payment-card numbers, CVVs, or retailer session cookies. Payment information for your CartBuddy subscription is handled by Stripe. Retail purchase credentials remain with the retailer.
How information is used
We use information to provide product watches, verify subscription entitlements, synchronize authorized settings, send requested notifications, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Service providers
We may use service providers for payment processing, infrastructure, email, and operational monitoring. They receive only the information needed to perform their services. Stripe processes CartBuddy subscription payments under its own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
